Better Futures Club is a Portland gathering built around a simple premise: imagining and making better futures. It meets weekly on alternating Tuesdays and Thursdays and deliberately mixes disciplines, drawing photographers, physicists, musicians, software developers, researchers, and designers into the same conversation. The format is informal -- people bring projects, half-formed ideas, and open questions, and the group works through them together, looking for collaborations that would not happen inside any single field. The club is connected to the Polygon Foundation, which envisions an artist community, think tank, and research center sharing one building. Sessions are held at Autumn Coffee Roasting at 3286 NE Killingsworth St; since it is a working coffee shop, attendees are asked to buy a beverage or a snack. All events follow the Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct.
