PDX Hackerspace hosts the afterparty for BSidesPDX 2026, the Portland information security conference running October 23 and 24. BSidesPDX attendees bring a conference badge and join the hackerspace crew for food and drinks once the second day of talks wraps. PDX Hackerspace members who want to come along can either register for the conference or help set up on Saturday afternoon before the party starts. PDX Hackerspace, also known as CTRL-H, is a member-run community workshop on North Interstate Avenue with electronics benches, fabrication tools and a standing calendar of open meetups, and it has long been a gathering point for the regional security and maker communities. The afterparty is a relaxed, conversation-first end to the conference weekend rather than a programmed event, and a good place to carry on whichever hallway track you were in the middle of.
