The November edition of the monthly organizing meeting for Community Broadband PDX, a volunteer campaign advocating for publicly owned internet infrastructure in the City of Portland. Attendees coordinate campaign efforts toward establishing a public broadband option for city residents, covering outreach, policy research, and engagement with city government. The meeting is explicitly open to everyone regardless of technical background, so network engineers, policy people, and curious neighbors are all welcome. It recurs on the second Thursday of every month. The group meets at the CETI Institute Lab on the 4th floor of 111 SW Columbia Street, which is reachable by public transit; garage parking in the building is $5 after 5 PM. More information is at communitybroadbandpdx.org and RSVPs go through the campaign's registration page.
