The annual Demolicious Championship Showdown gathers every monthly winner from the past year of UpStart Collective's pitch nights for a single high energy, founder versus founder battle at McMenamins Mission Theater. Each champion gets the stage one more time, the audience hears the pitches and votes, and one founder leaves with the belt, the bragging rights, and cold hard non dilutive prize money. It is the biggest night of the year for the Portland early stage community and doubles as an end of year celebration of the people building companies here before anyone outside the city has heard of them. Expect a full theater, a loud crowd, and a cross section of Portland founders, investors, operators and supporters in one room. Doors at 5:00 PM. Tickets are $25 plus fees and are on sale now.
