A social drawing and art-project session for digital creatives of every skill level, from absolute beginners to working animators. Attendees settle in at Rose City Book Pub with a drink, work on whatever project they brought, and meet other people making things while soft jazz plays in the background. Any kind of creative project is welcome, digital or analog, finished or barely started. Attendees are asked to buy food or a drink to support the venue. The host is Digital Dabblers, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community that runs digital art education and workshops in Portland; there is a Discord for ongoing chat, a published code of conduct covering respect and inclusive language, and a buddy system for walking attendees to their cars afterward. An optional Portland Zine Meetup runs at the same venue from 9 to 11 PM. Parking is ample and free in the evening.
