Exploit Workshop is the weekly computer security meetup at CTRL-H / PDX Hackerspace -- an open, self-driven event for anyone interested in computer security. It runs as a workshop rather than a lecture: attendees bring whatever they are working on, dig into it alongside other people, and talk shop. All skill levels are welcome, from complete beginners to career infosec professionals. Bringing a laptop is recommended but not required. Newcomers are encouraged to show up and ask questions -- it is one of the easiest ways in Portland to find out what people in security actually do day to day, and to get pointed at the right rabbit hole for whatever you are curious about. Mostly, though, it is a casual weekly gathering of hackers in Section 2 of the space, entered through the front door. Hosted by Dean Pierce. Free and open to all.
