FAN EXPO Portland is the city's biggest pop culture celebration, taking over the Oregon Convention Center for three days of panels, photo ops, and fandom. Roughly 30,000 fans turn out for celebrity guests, comic creators, anime content, gaming experiences, and cosplay activities, plus autograph sessions, professional photo opportunities, and shopping across every corner of geek culture from comics and sci-fi to horror and tabletop. For the STEAM community it is a showcase of the creative technology, artistry, and game development that power modern fandom, and a fun on-ramp for young people into art, design, and interactive media. The 2027 edition runs January 29-31 at the Oregon Convention Center; tickets and the full guest lineup are on the FAN EXPO site.
