Gratitude Day is a community potluck gathering hosted by PDX Hackerspace (CTRL-H) in the space's back yard on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It is a social event rather than a build night: members, makers and newcomers from the Portland hardware, electronics and maker community come together over shared food in the week when the shop is otherwise quiet. The hackerspace asks attendees to RSVP and coordinate dishes ahead of time through its potluck coordination page at potluck.pdxhackerspace.org, so the spread stays balanced and the organizers know how many people to expect. CTRL-H is Portland's volunteer-run community hackerspace at 7608 N Interstate Ave, home to its woodshop, electronics lab, laser cutters and regular meetups including Dorkbot, Locksport and the weekly Exploit Workshop. Enter at the second door from the south corner of the building.
