Portland Women in Technology (PDXWIT) hosts a networking evening built around a single question: what did you notice, during interviewing, that told you a job would turn out to be worth keeping? Rather than collecting business cards, attendees are asked to arrive with one concrete signal -- something they saw, heard, or asked about -- and to trade it with others. The premise is that green flags are learnable, and that a room full of people who have each found one good job knows more collectively than any single hiring guide.
