HackUP is billed as the first intercollegiate hackathon in Portland, hosted at the University of Portland and launched by UP senior Magnus Graham through the University of Portland School of Business. The event invites students, companies, and professionals from across Oregon to spend the day building with AI, and it offers workshops for students of any technical background, so participants do not need prior hackathon experience to take part. The intent is to get college developers from different Portland-area campuses working in the same room instead of competing on separate ones, and to connect them with local companies and professionals. Exact start and end times had not been published when this listing was captured; check the organizer page for the schedule and registration details.
