About This Event

Night two of AI Portland's six-part 'In Dialogue with AI' series at the University of Portland turns from technical mastery and risk mitigation to a harder question: who are we actually in dialogue with when we use AI? Applied AI researcher Roberto Santiago, who brings decades of experience in the field, examines how artificial intelligence has quietly become the medium between people -- shaping how we write to each other, how we decide, and what we assume is worth saying -- and what that shift costs culturally. The format is a 45-minute lecture followed by 15 minutes of open discussion and 30 minutes of networking with other Portland technologists, researchers, and students. Attending night one is not a prerequisite. Free to attend; registration through Luma is required.
