The annual Vancouver Tech Crawl is back after the pause that COVID forced on it. Attendees walk between restaurants and pubs in downtown Vancouver where Clark County technology companies have set up to talk about what they build, who they build it for, and what they currently need. The crawl kicks off at the Digs offices and moves through a set of downtown stops, with a printed map and the Passportage app keeping everyone pointed in the right direction. Participating companies include Digs, SEH America, Simplexity, JoeScan and Northtools alongside newer startups such as Trailspark and TokenJam. The 2017 and 2018 editions drew more than 150 people each, and organizers point to attendees who walked away with jobs, partners or investment. A reception follows the crawl. Tickets come in four flavors: crawl only, reception only, crawl plus reception, and a VIP option.
