Code and Coffee is a relaxed, welcoming co-working session hosted by the Portland Code & Coffee group at Peet's Coffee in Happy Valley. Bring a laptop and a drink, then chat with other attendees, focus on your own work, or find a collaborator for a side project, online course, or day-to-day task. Attendees can drop in and out at any time, and there are informal introductions for anyone who wants to practice introducing themselves and what they are working on. Peet's Coffee lets the group use the space for free, so buying something from the menu is encouraged to support the venue. Wifi and power outlets are available, and organizers ask to be told if the meeting area is not accessible. Attendance is typically smaller and more casual than larger tech events, and regulars are invited to become co-hosts. Parking is limited to a small lot outside the venue with more spaces nearby. This session repeats on the second Saturday of each month.
