The Portland AWS User Group gathers cloud and security professionals at ProFocus headquarters for an evening of technical learning and networking. Doors open at 5:30pm for introductions and conversation, and the tech talk starts at 6:00pm: Lee Harding presents "10 deployments in 10 minutes, zero dropped packets!", a live demonstration of how straightforward serverless datagram backends are to operate and iterate on - shipping repeatedly without dropping traffic. Expect a practical, demo-driven session with plenty of room for questions from people running real workloads. Topics span AWS, cloud computing, machine learning, and software development. Drinks are provided by ProFocus Technology; food is not provided at this one, so plan accordingly. Free to attend, RSVP through the group.
