About This Event

The Portland Linux/Unix Group (PLUG) hosts its monthly Linux Clinic at the Multnomah County Library Albina Branch, in the Albina Large Community Room 2A on the upper floor at 205 NE Russell St. The clinic is a free, informal, drop-in help session for anyone running into trouble with Linux or other UNIX-like systems. Bring a laptop, a stubborn install, a hardware question, a networking puzzle, or a configuration problem you have not been able to crack, and experienced volunteers will work through it with you. Newcomers curious about switching to Linux are just as welcome as long-time users, and no registration or RSVP is required. PLUG also invites volunteers to come help out; the organizers describe pitching in at the clinic as fun and rewarding work, and past helpers are encouraged to stop by and see the new library space. The clinic normally runs on the third Sunday of each month from 1pm to 5pm.
