An evening sign painting workshop at ADX, the member-based maker and fabrication studio in Portland's Central Eastside. The session covers traditional hand-lettering and sign-painting fundamentals -- brush loading and control, letterform layout and spacing, and working with enamel on a rigid substrate -- and sends participants home with a finished painted sign. Aimed at beginners and at designers who want to work in a physical medium rather than on screen. Runs 6:00 to 9:00 PM at 417 SE 11th Avenue.
