About This Event
The inaugural gathering of SNAP Specs PDX, a new Portland meetup group focused on Snap's wearable AR glasses (Specs 27), launching in Q4 2026. Hosted at the Oregon Reality Lab on the University of Oregon Portland campus, the evening features first-hand reports from members attending Snap's September 16 launch event in California, discussion of what the new hardware means for AR developers, and planning for an upcoming Specs hackathon in Portland. The group is open to all - developers, designers, XR enthusiasts, students, and anyone curious about augmented reality, spatial computing, and the future of wearable interfaces. Come meet the people building Portland's extended reality community and get in on the ground floor of a new developer ecosystem. Tuesday, September 22, 7:00-9:00 PM Pacific.
