A half-day course from Oregon Life Sciences on statistical process control, covering the tools used to keep a manufacturing process inside its limits and to know when it has genuinely drifted rather than simply varied. The session works through control chart selection and construction, interpreting out-of-control signals without over-reacting to noise, calculating process capability indices, and reducing sources of variation at the root. Practical training for process, manufacturing and quality engineers at Oregon hardware, device and life-science manufacturers, including teams standing up SPC for the first time.
