A casual make-and-take session at Baerlic Brewery in Southeast Portland, presented as part of AIGA Portland Design Month 2026. The premise is simple: take something, make something. Attendees drop in after work, pick up materials on site and make a small piece to keep, with other designers and makers around the table to talk to while they work. There is no curriculum and no experience needed - it is a low-pressure counterpoint to the lectures and workshops that fill out the rest of Design Month, built mainly for meeting people in the local creative community. A good option for designers, illustrators, students and anyone new to Portlands design scene who would rather start a conversation over a project than at a networking mixer. Held in the brewery taproom, so food and drink are available for purchase. Details are on the AIGA Portland event listing.
