About This Event
An evening at Loupe's Portland workshop where industrial robots and mathematical sculpture coexist. Host David Nichols, the CEO and artist behind @polyhedrist, demonstrates how automation tools including CNC machines, waterjets, and robot arms construct monumental steel polyhedra, among them a 9-foot, 3,000-pound pentagonal icositetrahedron. The event features shop tours, live demonstrations, and conversations with the team, and welcomes makers, engineers, students, and the curious. Part of the Portland Design Month 2026 program.
