Full job description

Microchip seeks a Principal Engineer to serve as technical lead and architect for mixed-signal IPs, covering licensing, SoC integration, and silicon validation. Focus areas include high-speed SERDES, PLLs, PVT sensors, and IOs. The role evaluates third-party IPs, negotiates vendor SOWs, signs off system clocking, and supports post-fabrication characterization and debug.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in EE with 10+ years of analog/mixed-signal IP experience, or master's with 7.5+
Expertise in PLLs, high-speed SERDES, PVT sensors, and IOs
Strong understanding of SoC architecture and system-level integration
