Full job description

Lead accounting projects for Amazon Leo, Amazon's satellite broadband initiative.

What you will do:

Serve as first point of contact for finance partners
Own end-to-end accounting processes and month-end closes
Research and document technical accounting positions
Assess internal controls and escalate risks to leadership
Identify and drive process improvements

Note: Export control requirement — must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or refugee/asylee. Hiring in multiple US locations including Portland, OR.

Qualifications

CPA
Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions
Knowledge of internal control framework (specifically COSO)
Knowledge of GAAP research tools and the FASB codification
Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients
Experience working in the satellite internet and/or telecommunications industries

Requirements

5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or refugee/asylee (export control requirement)
