Intel is seeking a senior architect to define microarchitecture for high-performance and low-power CPUs. The role models performance and power, analyzes bottlenecks, collaborates with design and validation teams, and debugs RTL-to-silicon performance mismatches. Candidates need deep CPU domain expertise and years of cycle-accurate C++ simulator experience. Hybrid role; Position of Trust with extended background investigation.

Qualifications

Master's with 10+ years or PhD with 6+ years on a high-performance ARM or x86 CPU performance team
8+ years with cycle-accurate C++ CPU performance simulators
Expertise in a CPU domain such as branch prediction, execution, or memory subsystems
