Full job description

Be a technical leader in deploying and scaling Agility's humanoid robotic systems across varied customer environments — owning integration from API to hardware and influencing the product through field experience.

Architect and execute complex integrations across robotic systems, customer APIs, sensors, and software
Develop software integrations using Python, REST API, and MQTT
Design mechatronics systems and industrial automation adapting customer applications to Digit's capabilities
Integrate IoT devices with customer equipment (PLCs, conveyors, sensors)
Lead on-site commissioning, field testing, and iterative problem-solving
Mentor junior and mid-level team members
Travel ~20-50% to support deployments, pilots, and field testing

Hybrid position based out of the Salem, OR office.

Qualifications

BS/MS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
6+ years deploying robotics or automation systems in real-world environments
Expertise in Python, networking, and hardware/software system interfacing
Strong communication and leadership skills
Willing and able to travel up to 50%
Bonus: Linux, ROS, safety standards, advanced programming (C++, TypeScript, Kotlin)
