Full job description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is hiring an Enterprise Act Engineer II in Portland, OR to support large global and enterprise customers running mission-critical systems on AWS.
What you will do:
- Design, build, and support cloud-based, mission-critical systems for large global and enterprise customers
- Work with engineering teams and manage enterprise accounts and support cases
- Advise customers on strategy, project planning, launch, and ongoing operations
- Present performance reviews and write up service disruptions
- Recommend new offerings and advocate for customer needs
- Join customer meetings
Schedule: 40 hours/week, 8:00am-5:00pm, with up to 25% domestic travel. Posted October 13, 2026.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field plus 1 year of experience as a support engineer, systems engineer, or in a related role
- 1 year of experience designing, building, troubleshooting, and managing large-scale distributed applications
- 1 year of experience in Linux or Windows systems administration
- 1 year of experience in computer networking, scripting, and automation
