Logistics Specialist 3, Logistics - Data Center Materials

AWS Infrastructure Services manages design, planning, delivery, and operation of global AWS infrastructure. This role supports data center operations in Hermiston, OR through logistics functions. Logistics Specialists monitor inventory levels, receive parts, maintain stock, and check out materials to technicians and engineers. Responsibilities include loading/unloading shipments, transporting parts between locations, and maintaining precise records of all commodities. Weekend shift work is required.

Key job responsibilities:

• Ensure billing accuracy and validation for inventory supply chain processing
• Assemble, address, stamp, and arrange shipment of merchandise and materials
• Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups
• Keep precise records of commodities in and out
• Adhere to safety standards, maintain quality, and operate powered equipment

The position involves warehouse/data center environments with moderate to loud noise and temperatures between 60-90 degrees (occasionally exceeding 90), with standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods.
