Full job description
Nike Sportswear is looking for a Designer II on the NSW Print & Pattern Graphic Design team at Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton.
What you will do:
- Research art, culture, street style, sport, and print trends to develop explorations aligned with seasonal narratives
- Create original artwork using hand-rendered and digital techniques across men's and women's apparel, footwear, and tees
- Translate print and pattern concepts onto three-dimensional products and the body
- Prepare production-ready artwork, including accurate repeats and schematics
- Apply knowledge of print techniques, production methods, and feasibility to solve design challenges
- Partner closely with Color, Apparel, Graphic Design, Footwear, Development, and Business teams
- Move ideas from research and creative exploration through production-ready execution
- Stay organized as priorities shift while managing seasonal calendars
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Fine Art or related field, or suitable combination of education, experience and training
- Minimum 5 years of experience in print and pattern design, preferably within apparel, footwear, or consumer product industry
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- Strong drawing, painting, dye, and digital artwork skills
- Strong portfolio demonstrating original print and pattern design, color theory, repeat techniques, textile processes, and translation onto three-dimensional product
- Excellent organization, time management, communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
