Full job description

Forward Deployed Engineer for Coinbase's Compliance organization, embedded in the Office of the CTO. Identifies automation opportunities in transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, regulatory change management, and exam readiness; prototypes on the existing AI platform; owns the Compliance automation roadmap with the CCO; and keeps outputs auditable and defensible to regulators.

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering shipping production systems
Hands-on LLM deployment: prompt engineering, evaluation, guardrails, human-in-the-loop
Ability to translate complex compliance workflows into engineering requirements
