Full job description

Senior individual contributor leading manufacturing systems architecture and integration for humanoid robot production at Agility Robotics in Salem, OR (hybrid). Bridges design, manufacturing, and test systems while staying hands-on with floor-level issues affecting production scaling and quality.

What you will do:

  • Lead architecture and integration across MES, PLM, ERP, SCADA, automation controls, and test systems
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives across hardware, software, and operations teams
  • Support builds, reviews, and real-time floor issues on-site

Qualifications

  • Experience with robotics, advanced automation, or complex mechatronic assembly lines
  • Background in model-based systems engineering (MBSE), digital twins, or smart factory systems
  • Familiarity with data systems (SQL, APIs, data lakes) and manufacturing software integration
  • Demonstrated scaling success from prototype to high-volume production
  • High-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment experience
  • DFMEA/PFMEA and quality traceability systems expertise

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years, Master's with 10+, or PhD with 8+ years in Manufacturing, Systems, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering focused on manufacturing systems for complex electromechanical/robotic products
  • Proven record of leading cross-functional initiatives across hardware, software, and operations teams
  • Expert-level understanding of manufacturing system architectures (MES, PLM, ERP, SCADA, automation controls, test systems)
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MES platforms in production environments (NetSuite experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to influence technical direction across teams and executives
  • Willingness and ability to be on-site regularly for builds, reviews, and real-time floor issue support
