New Relic is hiring a Director of Competitive Intelligence to lead its global CI program from strategy through execution: tracking observability, monitoring, and AIOps competitors; building battlecards and playbooks; overseeing win/loss research; advising Product, Marketing, Sales, and Analyst Relations; and scaling AI-enabled CI workflows integrated with Salesforce and Slack. Remote; Portland among eligible cities.

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive competitive intelligence experience in observability/DevOps/cloud software
Technical depth to evaluate APM, distributed tracing, OpenTelemetry, and Kubernetes observability
4+ years of people management and running CI programs at scale
