Full job description
Lead manufacturing test engineering for electronic subsystems at Agility Robotics in Salem, OR. Build teams, define test strategy, and ensure quality across the product lifecycle from prototyping through production.
What you will do:
- Build and scale the manufacturing test engineering team
- Own end-to-end manufacturing test systems from requirements through deployment
- Lead design collaboration, fixture management, and test data infrastructure
Qualifications
- Robotics, aerospace, automotive, or dynamic electro-mechanical systems experience
- Safety-critical product testing exposure
- Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or quality improvement background
- SEIT-to-MTE handoff protocol experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing test engineering for electro-mechanical or embedded systems, with 3+ years in a leadership or management role
- Proven experience building and scaling test teams in high-growth settings
- Expertise in mixed-signal bed-of-nails and functional test hardware development
- Strong proficiency in test software development (Python, LabVIEW)
- Demonstrated experience with DFT tools and standards
- Familiarity with I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, and EtherCAT protocols
- Experience with MES integration, quality systems, and test data pipelines
- Familiarity with ATE platforms (NI/TestStand)
- Risk-based methodology experience (FMEA)
- Demonstrated experience in cable harness and interconnect validation
