Full job description

Lead and develop teams of salaried and hourly employees in Amazon's WW Operations network, which serves customers daily across first mile, middle mile, and last mile. Keep teams safe and performing during shifts, drive productivity with data-driven decisions, and ensure orders are delivered on time to the right location.

Key responsibilities:

Support, mentor, and motivate salaried and hourly staff
Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact
Build productivity plans via forecast reviews and load balancing
Manage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery commitments
Partner with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, and HR

Physical demands: lift 49 lbs, stand up to 12 hours, work in variable noise and weather. Compensation also includes sign-on payments and RSUs.

Qualifications

1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean experience
Experience managing 2+ salaried employees and 70+ indirect employees
Experience with Lean, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field
Experience in military, manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, energy, production, or distribution environments

Requirements

3+ years of employee and performance management experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
Flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
