Full job description
Siemens EDA seeks a Principal Engineer for the Calibre LVS R&D team to design and develop physical verification features (req 490274).
- Optimize code for high-performance computing platforms and implement multi-threaded algorithms
- Conduct performance analysis and mentor junior engineers
- Collaborate across teams to define requirements for new enhancements
Hybrid role in Wilsonville, OR.
Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. degree
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- ~10 years software development experience with strong C++ background
- Linux-based development and HPC programming experience
- Extensive EDA background, particularly physical verification
- In-depth LVS principles and methodologies knowledge
- Graph algorithms understanding; multi-threaded programming and parallel computing experience
