Full job description

AWS is building Kiro Crew, an always-on agent layer for Kiro that independently tackles development tasks, maintains context across sessions, and continuously learns from its work. Location: Portland, OR or Seattle, WA.

What you'll do:

Shape technical direction and architecture for agentic developer tooling
Collaborate with customers to address real-world development challenges
Build production systems using industry-leading CI/CD practices
Own the complete lifecycle from agent orchestration to scalable deployment
Balance innovation with operational excellence to meet AWS standards for scale, reliability, and security

Pay range: $143,700 - $194,400 per year plus benefits.

Qualifications

3+ years full software development lifecycle experience (coding standards, code reviews, source control, build, testing, operations)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Requirements

3+ years non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, scaling)
1+ years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications
1+ years Object Oriented Design experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
