Full job description

Support SoC-level power management architecture at Ampere, translating product power/performance requirements into actionable specifications for energy-efficient cloud and AI processors. Hybrid role in Portland, OR.

What you'll do:

Support end-to-end power management architecture, converting product goals into SoC/IP requirements
Drive SoC and subsystem power management architecture with Product Power Management Architects
Collaborate with subsystem architects to assess IP power capabilities and identify feature gaps
Contribute to hardware/software/firmware trade-offs for feasible power management solutions
Participate in technical reviews aligned with the power management roadmap
Enable hardware-software codesign with architects and firmware developers

Pay range: $147,000 - $220,000.

Requirements

3+ years hands-on SoC power architecture experience with low-power concepts
Hardware development knowledge for low-power feature specification and integration
Working knowledge of SoC low-power modes, power states, and wake-up behavior
Experience supporting SoC-level power management flows
Cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
BS in EE/CE/CS with 5+ years related experience (or MS with 3+, or PhD)
