Full job description
Block is hiring an early-career, quantitative, AI-fluent data scientist to work on payments data across Square and Cash App. The role partners with Product, Operations, Finance, and Engineering to improve payment success rates, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation, building ETL pipelines, dashboards, and machine learning models and running experiments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with a strong academic record
- Experience with large datasets using SQL and Python
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate development and automate processes
