Amazon's Accounting Transformation Group is hiring an SAP Technical Solution Architect to lead SAP development teams across ABAP, Business Technology Platform (BTP), and BASIS infrastructure. Portland, OR is one of several eligible office locations.

What you will do:

Own technical strategy and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams
Establish standards for a large-scale Finance ERP transformation
Ensure alignment with clean-core principles and security standards

Qualifications

10+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
Knowledge of SAP systems and their architecture and infrastructure needs
Experience in SAP clean core design concepts, including design and build using non-SAP technologies in domains such as Generative / Agentic AI, and data & analytics
Experience with ABAP Cloud, Core Data Services, RESTful APIs, Fiori, and related capabilities
Experience with SAP BTP services, including Integration Suite, Extension Suite, Cloud Foundry, Kyma, SAP Build, Event Mesh, API Management, or related capabilities
SAP BASIS and HANA administration experience
Relevant professional certifications

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
Experience leading engineering teams as a mentor or tech lead, or experience in debugging, profiling, and implementing software engineering best practices in large-scale systems
Deep expertise in one or more areas of ABAP development, SAP BTP, SAP BASIS, SAP integration, or SAP technical architecture
