Airbnb's Payments modeling team is hiring a Senior ML Engineer to bring AI work - LLM-powered workflows, real-time fraud defenses, and personalized checkout flows - into production at global scale. The role owns end-to-end solutions, partners with product, engineering, and operations, sets standards for model governance, and mentors teammates.

Qualifications

5+ years in applied AI/ML; MS or PhD preferred
Strong Python or Java plus data engineering skills
Hands-on experience with PyTorch/TensorFlow, inference stacks, MLOps, or large-scale streaming
