Full job description
Block is hiring a Compliance Technology Program Lead to oversee its machine learning and heuristic detection models and the data pipelines that feed them, for fiat and virtual currency products. The role combines compliance, ML, and AI tooling, using LLM-based agents to automate oversight, monitoring, and documentation, working with ML, engineering, and BSA/AML policy teams.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of compliance technology experience at regulated financial institutions
- Hands-on production automation with modern AI tools including agentic workflows
- ML/heuristic model experience in transaction monitoring and sanctions screening
