Full job description

The Oregon Hazards Lab (OHAZ) at the University of Oregon is hiring a Multi-Hazards Field Engineer to install, maintain, and repair seismic, wildfire camera, and environmental monitoring stations across Oregon, supporting the ShakeAlert earthquake early warning and ALERTWest wildfire detection networks. Field work across remote sites required.

Qualifications

Experience with field instrumentation, electronics, or telecommunications
Comfort with remote field work, travel, and safety protocols
Networking and solar power systems knowledge a plus
