Full job description
Lead development and optimization of test infrastructure for Agility Robotics' robotic systems. Mentor junior engineers, drive best practices across the test organization, and act as technical liaison between Design, Systems, Firmware, and Manufacturing from concept through production.
What you'll do:
- Architect manufacturing test systems for electrical, embedded, and control subsystems
- Define automated production test strategies maximizing coverage, repeatability, and throughput
- Embed Design-for-Test and Design-for-Manufacturing principles early in development
- Lead root cause analysis and failure investigations through test data analysis
- Provide technical leadership during New Product Introduction
- Develop tools for test data collection, visualization, and automated reporting
Pay range: $125,000 - $163,000.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- 7+ years manufacturing test engineering experience with complex electro-mechanical or embedded systems
- Test system development leadership in robotics, automotive, aerospace, or consumer electronics
- Strong test software development skills (Python preferred)
- Deep understanding of embedded systems and protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, EtherCAT)
- Hands-on experience designing test fixtures, harnesses, and production test stations
- Ability to read electrical schematics; ECAD tools (Altium preferred)
