Full job description

Drive compliance strategy and internal control frameworks for AWS. Multi-location corporate role; Portland, OR is an eligible office.

Execute compliance strategies and internal control frameworks
Design and implement controls alongside engineering and business teams
Conduct in-depth process assessments to identify financial reporting risks
Develop and advise on compliance program design
Participate in annual auditor walkthroughs and control assessments
Evaluate control deficiencies and monitor remediation

Qualifications

2+ years Fortune 500 operational accounting background
Knowledge of the COSO internal control framework
Familiarity with GAAP research tools and FASB codification
Big Four accounting management experience with Fortune 500 clients
Accounting research and documentation experience

Requirements

3+ years of experience in controls, audit, compliance, or SOX roles
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
Experience designing controls or performing financial audits
