Manufacturing Specialists - Swing Shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM-10:30 PM)

nLIGHT manufactures high-powered fiber lasers and components for industrial, microfabrication, and aerospace & defense applications. This hands-on production role comes with on-the-job training - electronic assembly experience is preferred but not required.

What you'll do:

• Learn and perform electromechanical assembly operations using manual and electronic tools
• Work in a clean room environment wearing clean room garments; use microscopes and handle solvents as needed
• Enter production data into computer-based systems
• Follow documented work instructions and report irregularities
• Check equipment regularly and engage in basic troubleshooting
• Work safely and comply with quality and safety standards

Physical requirements: sit/stand/walk for 8-hour shifts, lift up to 35 pounds, frequent repetitive hand use with fine attention to detail.

Pay: Manufacturing Specialist I $19.20/hr, II $20.35/hr, III $21.57/hr, plus shift differentials of 10% (5:30 PM-12:00 AM) and 15% (12:00 AM-5:30 AM).
