Full job description
AWS Infrastructure Services owns design, planning, delivery, and operation of global infrastructure. As a Data Center Commissioning Engineer, you'll provide testing and validation oversight of electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
- Review design documents and lead Factory Witness Testing
- Manage third-party commissioning vendors
- Perform pre-functional, functional, and integrated systems testing
- Audit activities for compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements
- Communicate lessons learned and drive program improvements
- Support vendors and contractors in construction and commissioning of power systems, generators, UPS, HVAC, chilled water, and BMS systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or 5+ years relevant experience
- Knowledge of mechanical systems in critical Data Center operations
- Experience in design review process for electrical and mechanical solutions
- Experience reading and creating construction drawings and specifications
