Network Install Tech, DCC Communities

AWS Infrastructure Services seeks an Install Handoff Technician for data center operations in Oregon (Boardman, Umatilla, Hermiston). This role involves supporting large-scale enterprise networks with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment, maintaining AWS's next-generation network infrastructure. On-site reporting is required.

Key job responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Network Engineering and Technical Project Manager teams on design rollouts
• Remove project obstacles through stakeholder engagement
• Manage work through ticketing systems and workflows
• Document problems and processes for data center changes
• Troubleshoot networking, routing, and connectivity issues
• Resolve cabling infrastructure problems and small-scale hardware failures
• Participate in hardware migration, configuration, and rollout
• Maintain quality workmanship and site cleanliness
• Up to 50% travel within the geographical area

Candidates must be detail-oriented with strong communication skills and experience supporting enterprise networks. Note: this position requires U.S. citizenship for AWS GovCloud access.
