Full job description
Amazon has an immediate opening for an IT Equipment Coordinator in its Portland Fulfillment Center. The coordinator maintains IT inventory, coordinates ordering and delivery, conducts audits of assigned assets, and maintains standardized housekeeping of IT areas to support the operations team.
What you'll do:
- Allocate and maintain IT equipment throughout the Fulfillment Center
- Manage the RMA and repair process for warranted devices
- Support IT Support Technicians and IT Support Engineers in daily projects
- Perform cable management, inventory, and equipment audits routinely
- Report directly to the IT manager
Candidates need a solid understanding of computers and related equipment (printers, scanners, storage devices, monitors). Pay range: $22.00 - $23.50 per hour.
Qualifications
- Experience with QA, testing, helpdesk, IT support, or technician work
- Experience managing inventory in retail or distribution settings
- Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals
- Experience in procurement, inventory, and asset management of IT equipment and IT lifecycle
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities
Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Knowledge of IT system hardware and network concepts
- Experience managing inventory in a warehousing, retail, or distribution setting
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 49 lbs and stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
