Full job description

DTNA is seeking a senior engineer to lead function development and software implementation for base charging systems within its Zero Emission group. The role integrates functions across ECUs, ensures network communication between components, and researches advanced control strategies for electrified powertrains, including DC/AC, bi-directional and smart charging, ISO 15118 communication, and validation support. Onsite in Portland.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in electrical engineering or power systems plus 6 years in electric powertrain, charging, and HV systems
6 years developing EV systems and software including CAN and embedded controls
Experience with charging station protocols and cross-functional international teams; up to 20% travel
