Full job description

Build the perception systems that let Digit, Agility Robotics' commercially deployed humanoid robot, work safely in open floors, shared aisles, and dynamic spaces where people, forklifts, and other robots move at once.

Design and deliver ML/perception capabilities such as human detection, multi-object tracking, and pose estimation
Optimize algorithms for efficient execution across CPU and GPU architectures
Build with MLOps best practices: data annotation, storage, model evaluation, and deployment

Hybrid from any Agility office (Salem OR, Fremont CA, or Pittsburgh PA).

Qualifications

Experience designing perception systems for humanoid or legged robots
Experience with multiple sensor modalities: camera, lidar, infrared
Knowledge of traditional geometric computer vision and sensor hardware

Requirements

5+ years of experience in machine learning/perception for robotics
Master's or Ph.D. in AI, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Experience building ML/perception systems for safety-critical or safety-rated contexts
Deep expertise in CNNs, multi-object tracking, human detection, data association, supervised learning, and pose estimation
Experience optimizing algorithms across CPU and GPU architectures
Experience with MLOps: data annotation services, data storage, model evaluation tools, model deployment
Publications in the field (CVPR, ICCV, RSS, ICRA preferred)
