Full job description
Daimler Trucks is seeking an entry engineer to innovate, create, and develop vehicle assembly processes within Chassis Manufacturing Engineering. Design, develop, and deliver manufacturing processes that offer unmatched quality to customers.
- Design, develop, and implement new or revised production processes for efficient mass production
- Design arrangement of manufacturing equipment for the most efficient and productive layout
- Design the sequence of production operations and specify procedures for fabrication of tools and equipment
- Conduct tests throughout production stages and troubleshoot production problems
- Provide guidance to product design engineering on technical specifications
- Ensure production processes comply with regulation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or related field
- Hands-on vehicle product knowledge and applied project management a plus
- Enthusiasm for developing effective processes and technologies
