Onsite role based from any Agility office (Fremont CA, Salem OR, or Pittsburgh PA).

Develop production-ready skills for Digit humanoid robots and bring them into real customer workflows.

What you will do:

Develop robot skills using behavior trees, state machines, and task planners
Integrate robot behaviors into warehouse, manufacturing, and distribution workflows
Test, validate, and deploy new skills in simulation and on physical hardware
Enable human-in-the-loop interventions and build data collection pipelines for task error analysis
Work hands-on with hardware to evaluate performance and root-cause failures
Collect targeted teleoperation data to improve learned behaviors
Recreate corner cases from logs into repeatable tests for production validation
Travel occasionally (under 10%) to customer sites for deployment support

Experience scripting robot behaviors using state machines or behavior trees
Understanding of robot manipulation, motion planning, and kinematics (MoveIt framework)
Hands-on experience collecting and curating teleoperation datasets
AR/VR application development for robot teleoperation
Test-driven development, automated regression testing, and CI/CD workflows
Prior experience operating autonomous robots in customer environments

2+ years of relevant robotics experience (research and/or industry)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or related field
Proficiency in Python with ability to write clean code
Experience with Linux systems
Hands-on interest in physical robot behavior development, not just simulation
Strong ownership mentality with attention to reliability and failure mode elimination
